Meditation is one of the most powerful tools for mental and spiritual health. It is very beneficial for those who struggle with anxiety and insomnia. But we hear so much controversial advice online about using it that it feels overwhelming and difficult to implement this tool in our hectic lifestyles. In today’s post, I am sharing what worked for me and simple ways YOU can add meditation to your daily routine without adding more to your plate.

Start with guided meditations. They help you to learn how to meditate with ease, and you will start to benefit from this amazing tool from the first try.
Any habit sticks if it is sustainable and doable. I tried many options, and the only one that was helpful and stayed in my routine was Asana Rebel guided meditations. They are very doable as they last only 10-15 minutes. The app has a very affordable price (costs one coffee a month for an annual subscription).
Besides guided meditations, it includes workouts, nutrition, sleep help, and much more. It is not an ad – I’ve been using this app for three years already, and it’s been my best friend on my wellness journey.
I like the guided meditations of this app not only because of their duration, of course. They address many topics, and the voice is remarkably soothing and relaxing. The topics covered in the meditations are suitable for any mood and area of your life you want to improve. At the end of this post, I am sharing my favorites that might be a great way for you to start.

We all have different schedules and lifestyles. The majority of the time, you will hear that people meditate in the morning. And I tried many times to implement meditation in my morning routine, but I always fail.
I have 3 teens, a regular 9-to-5 job, and my creative job (this blog and SWD). We want it or not, there are only 24 hours a day, and time is the most valuable asset, so we have to prioritize how we spend it.
I have one “extra” hour every morning, and I can’t squeeze in all the activities I want to do before sending the kids to school and heading to work. So I had to choose, and in the morning, I do a silent jog or walk, and set up my intentions for the day.
And I do meditation in the evening. It helps me to unwind, to release stress after a long day, and relax before going to bed. Guided meditation helps find your inner peace, which means going to sleep with a serene and peaceful mind that promotes better sleep.
You may want to try both mornings and evenings, and choose what works best for you and your schedule.
I selected a few of my favorite meditations for you to try. Below you can see a gallery of meditation screenshots with guidelines and duration. Swipe to check them out.
Each of these guided meditations gave a valuable contribution to my mindset change, fighting anxiety and insomnia, as well as improving my wellness journey in so many ways.
I hope you will find some helpful tips for your wellness journey and will try at least one of the above. And if you would like to share how it went, please do so in the comments below.
Happy meditating. Namaste 🙂
