Ester baby blanket is a gorgeous design composed of granny squares. After many of you asked, I published a detailed step-by-step video tutorial on making the Ester Granny squares on YouTube.

The video shows every row and all particulars of making one granny square. In the tutorial, I use a 4 mm (metric size) crochet hook and sport weight yarn- Safran cotton by Drops Design.

This crochet square will be perfect for your home decor pieces: blankets. bed runners or garments, scarf for example. The square is not too lacy, which makes it suitable for any season. You can make it in cotton, silk, or bamboo yarn for spring and summer and in wool or mixed fibers for autumn and winter.

Probably, the Ester granny square is not the easiest you will do, but the result is worth the effort.
