I am trying to create as many helpful resources for you as possible. This week one more source was added to the SWD YouTube channel: the knitting stitch library and crochet stitches tutorials – long videos, and shorties.

Why shorties format?

Your time is valuable and rather than do a long video, I decided to go for shorties. Most of the stitches are easy and quick to learn so I thought I could explain them to you in a simple and fun way.

At the moment there are two video tutorials – garter and moss knitting stitches. They are timeless and the easiest knitting stitches to learn. You can watch tutorials here:

There are more videos to come for this channel’s section and I hope you like the idea of making these tutorials “short and sweet”.

What projects can you do with these stitches?

Options are endless! These are the most versatile and classy stitches which are perfect for any garment or blanket. And they also are great to learn how to know if you are an absolute beginner. Here are some ideas to inspire you:
