About

Becoming a mama, an artist was born.

I started to knit and crochet for my children (I am a mom of 3), and liked it so much that I could not stop. Since 2013, I have been creating simple and timeless newborn and family staples.  It started as an artisan shop on Etsy, but during COVID, I had to close it and turn my physical products into digital. This is how the Sofie White Designs project came to life. 
This project evolves with me every year, and I am thankful for everyone who chooses my work and becomes a part of my journey.

At home, you will always find me surrounded by notebooks, pencils, hooks, needles, and yarns.

I do not have a fancy studio or a craft room (yet). I turned my bedroom into a happy place where I create and bring to life my patterns and baby garments, shoot the photos, and do admin work.

Creating makes us a better person, can teach a lot about ourselves, and helps to keep sanity navigating through the newborn era.

I hope my patterns and handmade designs will help you slow down, create something beautiful, and cherish every tiny moment of the season you are in. :)

    The good day always starts with a cup of coffee and few more in between the errands.

    Quiet walks or just gazing it from the window help me to "exhale".

    They have a superpower to turn a "meh" day into a "wow" day.

I truly believe that less is more. Simplicity is my core value that is reflected in the patterns and handmade collections.
